I can’t talk to dogs, I can’t explain my feelings to dogs, I don’t have anything in common with them.
So I can’t speak the same language as them. They don’t need words to communicate.
So I can’t explain my feelings to them. They don’t need me to, they just understand.
I don’t have anything in common with them? Incorrect. Everybody has the exact same thing in common with dogs, except most people fake having it.
What am I talking about?
If you haven’t guessed yet, the trait shared by all humans and many animals is that we all just want someone to love us.
The other things I like about dogs that are relatively rare in humans:
They will always love you unconditionally, even if you hurt them sometimes.
They are loyal. You can’t bribe them to abandon their friends. They might take the bribe, but they won’t do what you want them to. And if they do, I’d be more scared of their friends.
They know what’s really worth having in life… much better than most people do.
They are wonderful friends.
